Artist's Comments
He was a small boy, with emaciated limbs and a ghastly thin face. His eyes were sunken like a creature that had spent years in a cave, deep purple bruises encircling the glaring purple stare the boy possessed. The shirt he wore, which was completely black, didn’t help soften the sharp glare of his pure white skin. His hair contrasted with it as well, the mahogany wire-like mass sitting atop his head like an unruly mop. He stood blinking wide-eyed up at Myra and Steel.
“You’ve got your hands full,” Steel commented. Myra glanced at him. “Just like when I met you, only with less blood.” Steel nearly chuckled. So, this character sort of sat at the back of my head for a few months. Before The Xyklan Saga was actually a Saga, Kenta here was a big part of the plot. He still is, but for some reason, I've been neglecting him. And in a great big brainstorm session I had with Katria-Kage, I came up with a way to make him even more important, and she added her own spice to the salad.  Yay for Kenta.He's got a demon, by the way. His name is No-Name. hahahaha /pun. I love drawing this kid now. Before this, he had stupid hair and annoying eyes, but now he all EEEEE. Expect some more on him soon. Kenta and the Xyklan Saga are both (c) Me, Darmoon87. |

So, usually I love your stuff to death, but this is way to animu, the eyes... and his chin could be a weapon, I know his face is thin, but I think your spark and style are lost on this, not that it isn't good, still better than some of my better stuff but still... animu.

I see what you mean. I was up late at three drawing this, so yeah, it's probably nowhere near as good as my other stuff. But Kenta is sort of supposed to look out-of-place, especially when compared to my other characters.
But thank you for the critique; I'll take it into consideration when drawing him again.

Quite frankly, I love how you drew this. This new style that you're experimenting with is really refreshing and really lovely to look at. The subject matter is again, dark, moody, and foreboding. And you do it so well! I love how you drew the hair. Great work!
